Mad Rush (2011)

Over the years I have found that when things are in chaos, the common rules of how one acts and reacts suddenly changes. It can be a tragedy, a fight or a threat too big to handle. It can be a storm or someone crying their eyes out; when the world is upside down, whether it's an actual or emotional event, we tend to help each other out more easily or make promises. In the eye of the storm, everything is calm.

It's when we have weathered the storm that things gets hard, when we have to reflect and keep the promises made. This series is as much a documentation of being in the eye of the storm and its aftermath, as it is a symbolic reflection of how chaos affects our way of thinking and reacting.

Mad Rush was released by Kaugummi Books in 2011.
